Dr. Avril Salter has over 20 years of experience in the wireless and computer industries. She has held executive and technical positions at small startups and major corporations, including IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Motorola and Sprint.

Dr. Salter has worked on leading edge wireless technologies. She has worked at length on the highly successful 802.11 Wi-Fi technology and on the emerging OFDMA broadband wireless technology used in WiMAX and LTE. More recently, Dr. Salter has been working with OEMs and ISVs rolling out cloud-based subscription services.
