I found myself delighted in being able to utilize the IPv6 class knowledge on a...question that came up [as to] why there was IPv4 packet exchange on the wire.   The reconcilation of the phenomena was that the tusc trace revealed that "IPv4-Mapped IPv6 address" translation was in-play.  I was able to utilize the class notes to quickly find that it was the newer "IPv4-Mapped IPv6 address" RFC 4291 and -NOT- the deprecated "IPv4-Compatible IPv6 address".  Because the knowledge was fresh from the class, I didn't have to spend hours to learn and research from scratch.

One of the better courses I've taken in a while [Hands On IPv6].  Very good instructor...very knowledgeable of the material. Course was set up very well.  Good classroom setting, good lab environment.
