Delivered proof of concept on schedule/budget and product/ network management approach that has been demonstrated to fully align to customer network requirements and desires.  Mastered ATM/Frame Relay voice and data interworking requirements and assisted in establishment of OEM arrangements and agreements for software, hardware and partner corporations. Considered the primary program architect for the project.

Promoted to lead and manage a major engineering program for Wireless Local Loop product with staff of 70 people including hardware, software, RF, systems engineering, test and ‘greenfield’ operations.  Assignment was an expatriate based in the United Kingdom. Product is point to multipoint CDMA/spread spectrum technology based telephony bypass utilizing latest custom ASIC, processor and DSP technologies and OO software design.  Successfully gained British Telecom acceptance of product leading to orders in excess of $90M. Instituted new methodologies for project/program performance tracking based on cycle time performance demonstrating time and cost to complete metrics.  Produced a product future vision concept and program plan including a number of patents in this area of technology.

Promoted to Director to be primary program manager in a rapid development project to produce an international Access Division Digital Loop Carrier product: Litespan 120.  Primary contributor in developing product definition, product launch, rollout plans, P&L forecasting, project and business plans. The product was a 120 line primary MUX/ODLC product with electrical and optical network interfaces using V5.1 concentration techniques. Record of program delivery on-schedule, under budget.  Resulted in initial sales in excess of $4.5M.

Led to a Co-chair Technical and Program Committee position with two international collaborations for combined SDH and SONET standards. Delivered initial international customer for the product and managed a collaboration with UK based company to provide network solution.  Developed and implemented Product Life Cycle Process.
