Hands On IPv6 2-Day - Dodge City KS

Everyone is migrating or planning to migrate their networks to IP version 6.   Our standard class covers all the basics.

The protocol has been around for many years, but those who have engaged it will tell you it is really very different from IPv4 in many ways other than just the address format.  This course is an excellent hands-on advanced study of the IPv6 protocol, beyond the addressing format, the changes in behavior, and dives deeper into the following:

"What is the next generation of IP (IPv6) and why it matters?"
"What must I know about IPv6 that will affect my network?"
"How does IPv6 addressing work and why would I use/not use it?"
"How do I integrate IPv6 with IPv4?"

To develop a "hands-on" skill set targeted at Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) networking in the following key areas:

What is the IPv6 Protocol?
How does it improve IPv4?
What does IPv6 addressing look like and how is it used?
IPv6 Usage in Routing (RIPng, OSPF, BGP)
Multicast and Anycast IPv6 Features

Attendees are required to attend with a laptop (Windows or MAC or Linux).

This course will be On Site Delivery.  Each student will need a computer/laptop with an Internet connection, and a current web browser.
