This course teaches students how to use AI as a practical assistant for troubleshooting, documentation, packet analysis, Wi-Fi support, safety planning, escalation, and customer communication. The emphasis is not on replacing technical judgment, field experience, company procedures, or network evidence. Instead, students learn how to use AI to organize their thinking, ask better questions, strengthen troubleshooting workflows, improve documentation, and communicate more clearly with customers, dispatch, supervisors, NOCs, and engineering teams.
The course includes lecture, examples, hands-on lab exercises, and a realistic capstone scenario. Topics include safe AI account setup, data controls and privacy, Custom Instructions, Memory, Projects, AI-assisted troubleshooting, Ethernet and TCP/IP skill building, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, Wireshark and packet capture assistance, documentation and escalation, safety preparation, and communication skills.
