Transitioning to Winter and Training
The fall is a crazy time. Focusing on getting those projects completed before the first snow locks in the north and the holiday season comes rushing up. As winter sets in, it is time to level up your training!!
2024 has been quite the year. I think we are all ready for a little calmer times!
As announced in our previous newsletters, the Telecom 101 self paced course has been updated, facelifted and re-recorded. It is available online for all new Telecom/Provider employees, and even not so new folks as well. Make sure you have an account at the Online School, if not sign up - its free. Then head to this link to enroll, pay, and take the course. All done online!! I look forward to reading your evaluations to allow you to let me know what you think of this updated course.
We embarked on a major project here to revamp and re-record the certification program. All recordings are done, and we are in editing mode. Courses have been updated in this version 2 of this very successful alternative to the expensive Cisco CCNA and A++ certifications. If you want more information look here.
A reminder: We completed the free broadband training project in conjunction with the Northwest Technology Center in Alva OK. Security Security Security As many of you know, new Security requirements and secure supply chain requirements have been creeping into the telecom grant processes.
