In Wireshark 3.4.0 stable release and later, you are going to find a display button feature that we have already leveraged to change all our profiles. We now have the ability to nest display filter buttons, and I absolutely love this feature.
One of the cool things about being able to customize Wireshark is to create profiles with different “one click” filter buttons. The problem was always that this takes up space and as you add more and more, the remaining space for the display filter field gets reduced and reduced.
But not any more!
By nesting these buttons in your profiles, a lot of space is regained. In fact – it actually becomes a more logical layout.
Now – you have to have version 3.4.0 or later. You can find updated profiles here in our profiles repository.
