EIGRP Cheat Sheet

This EIGRP Cheat Sheet is designed as a quick-reference guide for students, technicians, and network engineers who need a concise way to review how Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol works. It brings the most important EIGRP concepts onto a single page, including packet types, DUAL route states, successors and feasible successors, Feasible Distance and Reported Distance, metric behavior, Hello and Hold timers, neighbor requirements, route codes, useful Cisco show commands, and EIGRP Stub operation.

EIGRP is generally easier to configure than many routing protocols, but the underlying DUAL terminology and troubleshooting behavior can still be confusing. This cheat sheet is especially useful when you need to remember why a route is Passive or Active, how the feasibility condition works, what causes a neighbor relationship to fail, or where to start when troubleshooting a Stuck-in-Active condition. Download it, print it, and keep it nearby during labs, certification study, classroom instruction, or real-world troubleshooting.
