This is a great profile for DNS learning, troubleshooting, and analysis.

The updated Wireshark DNS Analysis Profile takes DNS troubleshooting to the next level by giving analysts immediate visibility into both traditional and modern encrypted DNS traffic. New one-click filter buttons make it easy to isolate DNS over TLS (DoT), DNS over HTTPS (DoH), DNS over QUIC (DoQ), and DNSSEC traffic without repeatedly building complex display filters. Enhanced packet-list columns expose critical DNS details directly in the main Wireshark window, helping you quickly identify queries, responses, record types, response codes, server behavior, transport protocols, and potential failures.

Whether you are troubleshooting slow name resolution, investigating encrypted DNS usage, validating DNSSEC, or determining how applications are bypassing traditional DNS infrastructure, this profile transforms a dense packet capture into a focused DNS troubleshooting workspace.
