CBRS Certified Professional Installer (CPI) Services Description

CellStream is proud to announce, and congratulates, Mr. Andrew Walding on attaining his CBRS Certified Professional Installer certification from Google! 2020 02 18 11 03 55

As discussed in the CBRS overview article, CBRS license holders need an account with one of the SAS providers, and then they need a CPI to actually certify and log their CBSD/Antennas into the SAS database.

Note: Initial PAL license bidding opens June 25th, 2020.  Check out a CBRS Workshop near you by looking at the CBRS Overview Article.

Mr. Walding, has his certification and is available on contract to provide CPI services to your organization at very reasonable rates.  He has designed a logging system that he confidentially maintains that provides all the key parameters required by the SAS and supporting documentation that goes just a little above the minimum requirements to ensure accuracy and traceability to the very important licensing process.

For example, Mr. Walding states “Certainly the normal antenna attributes like Longitude, Latitude, Azimuth, power level and others are required.  But we keep a topographical record, and pictures of the installation, as well as provide drone based video of the site and surrounding area as supportive evidence that gurantees the accuracy of what we certify.”  He goes on to point out that “A license/stakeholder is investing in equiment and physical installation costs as well as the monthly recurring SAS cost per antenna.  That last one is only a few dollars per month, but an extensive system of radios and antennas can get expensive.  Keeping the overhead to certify the installation low, and doing the job 120% right the first time is the value add that I bring to the table.”
